PRESS RELEASE

August 4, 2020 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LINO LAKES, MN – Sharetec System, one of the fastest growing core systems offering the technology of simplicity, announces the success of their ACH Explorer tool to help credit unions capture lending opportunities.

Maine Family Federal Credit Union in Lewiston, Maine, presented Sharetec with a challenge: “Please show us where our members are spending their money.” This simple request lead to over $875,000 in auto loans and a new product that will benefit all Sharetec credit unions.

Using Sharetec’s simple-to-use ad hoc reporting tool, the Sharetec team looked at ACH history and member data and was able to identify members who could potentially save money by refinancing their auto loan. The resulting email marketing campaign, also automated through Sharetec’s e-marketing capabilities, resulted in 42 new loans and over $26,000 in increased earnings for Maine Family Federal Credit Union.

With plans to do more promotions in the future Maine Family Head of Lending, Linda Poulin, says that she’ll take that kind of success whenever she can get it, “Not only will Maine Family realize increased earnings but our members are saving money!” Who can argue with that?

To make it even easier the Sharetec team has created an ACH Explorer module. Joe Reis, Regional Manager for Sharetec, said, “ACH Explorer will allow users to simply enter the parameters they want and Sharetec will produce a report and an email or letter that can be sent to the member. In addition, Sharetec will automatically save a copy of the correspondence in the member’s Document Manager for tracking your marketing efforts.”

PRESS RELEASE

July 7, 2020 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LINO LAKES, MN – Sharetec System, one of the fastest growing core systems offering the technology of simplicity, announces their success helping a Sharetec Credit Union access vital data quickly through Sharetec Dashboard 2.0.

Daryl Empen, President of Gas & Electric Credit Union, comments, “The lending dashboard has been especially useful to our lending staff. They can filter the delinquent loan report by loan officer, balance, delinquency, loan type, or any way they want to quickly see who may need attention. They can view loan originations by officer to see where our growth is coming from, and to monitor trends in our loan origination.”

Sharetec’s Dashboard 2.0 offers credit unions a unique solution to reporting and is designed specifically for financial, lending, membership, and transaction analysis. Sharetec Dashboard 2.0 helps credit unions dramatically reduce the time it takes to access vital data. Credit unions can see the Trend Analysis, ROA, Loan to Share, Deposit and Loan breakdown daily on a desktop, tablet or
mobile device.

Matt Isger, Regional Director for Sharetec, comments, “CU management has responded really well to the graphical representation of their data. From the lending department to the number of transactions by branch, it has been so helpful. Board members have also provided feedback that the dashboards have made the data much easier to analyze.”

PRESS RELEASE

May 26, 2020 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LINO LAKES, MN – Sharetec System, one of the fastest growing core systems offering the technology of simplicity, announces Northern Indiana Federal Credit Union (NIFEDCU) has selected Sharetec to be their new core system.

In 2019, NIFEDCU’s Board & Management Team participated in Strategic Planning where it was determined that the CU had to offer the same products, programs, and technology offered by larger, traditional financial institutions. Technology and innovation emerged as key priorities. As a result, it was determined that NIFEDCU needed a new core system.

Christine Biasi, President & CEO, explained "In order to position NIFEDCU for future growth, it was essential that we partner with a company that not only provided an innovative system, but one that also integrated a suite of complimentary solutions outside the core program including a comprehensive loan operating system including the ability to provide both direct and indirect lending; remote deposit; online banking/bill payment; remote signature; direct issue debit cards; and integrated interfaces for credit and debit card programs. In the absence of a seamless, unified approach, augmenting individually would have been an exhaustive process.”

Christine continued “Having overseen several core processor conversions, it did not surprise me when my NIFEDCU team chose Sharetec. With Sharetec at the hub on the CU’s entire operating system, I trust the management team and the conversion crew’s proven success, which is fundamental to my confidence in the Sharetec Core Processing system.”

Matt Isger, Regional Director for Sharetec, comments, “The team at NIFEDCU were diligent in their method to evaluate many parts of the core solutions they were considering. With many of the credit union’s processes being automated, I am looking forward to watching the dramatic transformation on Sharetec.”
