BCBST Employee Credit Union’s decision stemmed from an informational request they submitted through Sharetec.com. They were looking for a complete solution that would enable them to better meet the growing and changing needs of both members and employees. The credit union wanted to significantly improve their overall efficiency and member facing technology.

After thoroughly evaluating Sharetec’s Request for Proposal and learning about the numerous benefits and affordability of the system, BCBST Employee Credit Union’s decision makers saw Sharetec as the obvious choice to meet their diverse needs. Nick Woodard, President of United Savings Credit Union, comments, "During a planning session, we decided to migrate our Sharetec services from an in house server to the Service Bureau service. With any conversions that are done there is a certain sense of uncertainty of the unknown along with potential disruptions to serving our members. “The Evansville Firefighters FCU celebrates its 80th year in operation in 2016. In keeping with our history of providing our members with outstanding service and support, we wanted to find a core processor that would give the members the same service and support they are accustom to or exceed their expectations. We want to provide our members with security and continued growth, which we feel Sharetec will provide. "Our current core system met our needs as a midsized, closed SEG credit union for many years, but recently we received approval to open up membership to an underserved area near our newest branch. We needed to form a partnership with our core processor based on the mutual desire to enhance the financial well-being of our members through new features not currently available. From our first meeting with Sharetec, we felt a bond toward a common goal of bringing our members all the bells and whistles currently available while keeping in mind our bottom line. LINO LAKES, MN – Sharetec System, one of the fastest growing core systems that offers the technology of simplicity, announces the 2016 Annual Sharetec Users Conference had the largest attendance of customers and business partners in the history of the company.

Sharetec Credit Unions were welcomed at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Disney from September 26th to 29th for Sharetec’s Annual Conference. Many enjoyed a variety of workshops and hands-on labs that offered a first-look at exciting new product announcements and a vision for the system’s future, as well as connecting with other Sharetec Credit Unions sharing ideas and techniques. Anna Melecosky with Landmark Credit Union comments, "The networking this year was excellent. I think this year has to be one of the best conferences I’ve attended."

With credit union related speakers and business partners offering ideas to grow membership and develop business strategies, this was Sharetec’s largest conference to date. Mike Lawson from CUbroadcast comments, "I had a blast talking video strategies, media relations, and "CU Selfies". Each session I gave was packed and full of discussion, generating new ideas for attendees to take back to their credit union and use. It was so refreshing to experience such a high level of interactivity and brainstorming to create new solutions."

Thomas Wright with CU Tech Talk had a great experience, "Credit union attendees were enthusiastic and friendly. My sessions went over well and participants were very active, providing great feedback and questions. We used an online interactive polling system to solicit direct feedback and it worked out well."
